1 դոլարով ապրող աշխարհի աղքատների դեմքերն ու կյանքը (Photo)

Աշխարհում ամեն վեց բնակչից մեկը ծայրահեղ աղքատության մեջ է ապրում` գոյատևելով մեկ դոլարից էլ պակաս գումարով։ Աշխարհում սոցիալական ու տնտեսական ճգնաժամի ժամանակ այս մարդիկ առավել ծանր պայմաններում են գոյատևում։ Լուսանկարիչ Ռենե Բայերը և նրա օգնականը՝ Թոմաս Նազարիոն, ով գրի է առել մարդկանց պատմությունները՝ շրջելով աշխարհի շուրջ, վավերագրել են այն մարդկանց կյանքը, ովքեր մեկ դոլարից պակաս գումարով են գոյատևում։ Բայերի աշխատանքները տպագրվել են 200 գունավոր լուսանկարներով 348 էջից բաղկացած գրքում։

8-ամյա Ֆատին մյուս երեխաների հետ աշխատում է աղբանոցում՝ փորձելով որևէ բան գտնել, որը կկարողանա փոխանակել չնչին գումարի հետ, որպեսզի կարողանա գոյատևել։ Աղջկա արցունքները գլորվում են նրա աչքերից մալարիայի հետևանքով ունեցած ցավերից։  Ինչևէ, նա ստիպված է անել այս աշխատանքը գոյատևելու համար։

25-ամյա Ջեստինա Կոկոն իր դստեր՝ 5-ամյա Սաթա Քուայեյի հետ։

3 տարեկանից հաշմանդամ դարձած Ջեստինան տեղից բարձրանալու ու տեղաշարժվելու համար ստիպված է հենվել ձեռքերի վրա։ Նա գոյատևում է մյուսների համար լվացք անելով, փողոցում թխվածքաբլիթներ վաճառելով ու Լիբերիայի Մոնրովիա բնակավայրում փող մուրալով։ Նրանք երկուսն էլ տառապում են մալարիայից։ Ջեստինան երազում է անվաթոռ ունենալու մասին, առանձին սենյակի մասին, որտեղ կկարողանա ապրել դստեր հետ և որ կարողանա դստերը դպրոց տանել։ Նրանք քնում են մի տան նախասրահում, որտեղ չկա էլեկտրականություն, զուգարան ու ջուր, և նրանք ոչ մի սեփականություն չունեն։

Հնդկաստանի ետնախորշերում 20-ամյա Կալպանան սովամահ է լինում իր երեխաների՝ 2-ամյա Սանջիտայի, նրա քրոջ՝ 5 ամսեկան Սարիտայի հետ, ով հանգիստ քնած է մոր գրկում։ Սանջիտան ընդամենը 4 կիլոգրամ է կշռում։ Սանջիտայի տարիքի երեխաները հաճախ փողոց են հանվում մուրացկանությամբ զբաղվող իրենց ծնողների կողից՝ մարդկանց մոտ խղճահարություն առաջացնելու համար։ Մուրացկանության համար երբեմն այս երեխաները փողոց են դուրս հանվում նաև այլ մարդկանց կողմից։ Հաճախ, սակայն, մեկ երեխա զոհաբերելով՝ կերակրվում են համայնքի սովամահ լինող շատ երեխաներ։
